Ian Sok was born in southern South Korea in South Jeolla provence - where he began learning about herbs and acupuncture from local monks at an early age. At 24 he came to the U.S. - where he received formal training from the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences in Oakland, Calif. Upon completion of his studies, he was awarded the degree of Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM).
Ian is also a certified Master of Reiki and Qi Gong (Dharma Eye Qi Gong Center, Seoul) and holds a Master's Degree in Eastern Philosophy (M.Litt.) from Dongguk University.
He is currently completing his Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM) at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
